Grasshopper
The grasshopper has a ganglia in each segment of its body. It also has a large segment in its head thought to be the brain. Ganglia are nerve cell clusters. The grasshopper also has a neuropile running from its brain which channel the ganglia signals. The sense organs are usually found near the exterior of the insect. These sense organs contain nerve fibers and tiny hairs. Grasshoppers also have tympanal organs that take in sound.
