Ragworm
The brain of the ragworm is found in the protistomium. The ventral nerve chord is connected to the brain by ganglia. The nerve cord is surrounded by nerve fibers that act as anchors. The nerve chord contains two types of fibers, giant fibers and normal fibers. The giant nerve fibers are very useful when the ragworm needs to escape because they are very quick.
