Octopoda
The nervous system is a system in the body the sends electrical signals to places in the body in order to move it. Octopi are realted to the cuttlefish and squills which are mollusk invertebrates. Octopi have two eyes and four pairs of arms. They have no external or internal skeletons that allow them to squeeze into tight places. They are very intelligent. One major use of the nervous system by the octopus is movement of it's arms. The nervous system of the octopus contains two thirds of the octopus's nerve cells. The octopus also contains the giant axon system. This system contains giant nerve fibers which allows for super fast conductance of the muscles.
